Project Consists of:
Loading dock / freezer cooler addition
Unit ventilator and exterior window replacement
Fire sprinkle remainder of building
Kitchen alterations

2. Plans have been submitted to the Watershed District for preliminary review. The turnaround area is increased in
length to extend further to the east than existing.

3. Less impervious surface will be on the site after the demolition of the temporary classrooms and then construction
of the addition / turnaround paving alterations.

4. Footings and foundation for the freezer / cooler addition will extend low enough below grade that there should not
be an increase of soil pressure on the existing fuel oil tank.

5. Drain tile at north side will be replaced and continue into existing catch basin(s). South side drain tile will be
examined during construction to determine whether or not it is functioning.

6. Existing sanitary sewer access for flushing by the City is south and east of the turnaround and is not shown on the
survey. Paul noted that the sanitary sewer from the school drains directly into the Metro sanitary sewer system and
does not go through any Centerville lift stations. Accordingly, there may not be a need for a grease trap with the
kitchen alterations. :Paul will contact Karen Casales at the Anoka County Health Department to confirm whether or
not a grease trap is require. Bill noted that a french fryer is not included in the kitchen alterations. Karen notified
Bill that she does not require a grease trap.
