<br />" <br />.. <br /> <br />FEE-12-2002 10: 18 <br /> <br />LEAGUE OF MN CITIES <br /> <br />Section 18 <establishes the cQnditiolls of a liquor license that 3 Iiclill:llee must follow to <br />avoid Suspllllsion or I'IlVoclltion. The failure of a licensee to meet anyone of the <br />conditions of the license specified below shall result in a. suspension of the license <br />llnti! the condition ill met. <br /> <br />Wilhin 90 days after employment, every person seUlng or serving liquor in <br />an establishDl<:!llt which 113$ an "on,.sale" license shall re.::eive training regarding the <br />selling or serving of llquor 10 customers. The training shall be pro'Vided by an <br />organization approved by the Council. Proof of training of the servers shall be <br />provided by the licensee. <br /> <br />Every licemee ,is responsible for the conduct of lhe place of business and the <br />conditions of sobriety and order In It. The act of any employee on tile !iJCl:'JIlled <br />premises is deemed the act of the licensee as well, .md the licensee shall be liable to <br />all penalties provided by this ordinance and the law equally with the employee. <br /> <br />Every licensee shall allow any peace officer, health otficllr, city emploYe(!, or <br />any otheJ:' person deSignated by the Council 10 conduct compliance checks and to <br />otherwise enter, inspect and :;earch the premises of the licensee during business <br />hours and after business hours dUJ:'ing the time when I:IlstDlners remain on the <br />premises with,JUt a warrant. <br /> <br />No on-sale establishment shall dlsl>lay liquor to the public during hours when <br />the sale ofllq DOris pl'ohiblted. <br /> <br />Compliance with financial irespoWlibility requirements Qt' state law and of <br />this ardinance Is a continuing condition of any license. <br /> <br />Section 19 est.ablishes the hours and days of sale wblc:h are cOWlistent with those <br />establi:lhed by state law. In additiOll, the ordinance provides tbat: <br /> <br />No pe",~on shall conSllmll nor shallllny on-sale licensee permit any <br />consumption of intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor in an on-sale licensed <br />premises m,lee than 30 minutes after the time when a sale can legally occur, <br /> <br />No on-sale licensee shall permit any glass, bottle oe otber tunbinel' <br />containing intoxkating Iiqoor or 3.2 percent malt liquor to rlllllain upon any table, <br />bar, stool or other place whero: .:ustomers are served, mllre than 30 minutes aftel' the <br />time when a sale can legally occur. <br /> <br />No person, other than the licensee and allY employee, shall remain on the on. <br />sale licensed premises more than 30 minutes after the time wben a sale can legally <br />Occur. <br /> <br />S<;cUon 20 prohibits minors anti underage persons on licensed p,'ernises except <br />under certain conditioWl. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />P.22/24 <br />
