City of Centerville City Council Meeting Minutes April 24, 2002 3. Resolution #02-012 (Tri-City CSAH 14/I35E Interchange) Mayor Swedberg indicated the proposed Resolution is the result of the three-city meeting at Lino Lakes concerning the upgrade ofCSAH 14. Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Travis to approve Resolution #02-012. (Tri-Citv CSAH 14/I35E Interchanl!:e). All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. 4. Otter Lake Animal Control Contract. Proposed Revisions Ordinance #24. and Resolution #02-014 - Fee Schedule 2002 Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Capra to adopt the proposed fee schedule. approve Resolution #02-014. and direct Staff to revise Ordinance #24 and set up the public hearinl!: at the same time as the gambling ordinance. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. 5. Police Commission Memo Mayor Swedberg indicated the Police Commission is asking for a 15,000 square foot building that will cost approximately $3,000,000. He then noted that the other cities have asked for alternatives because this would add another $100,000 per city to the cost of police service for 20 years. Council Member Broussard Vickers asked whether the other cities have approved another officer. Council Member Nelson indicated she would not vote for a building or another officer and said she feels this matter should be discussed during the budgeting session. It was the consent of Council that the Police Commission should be prepared to present alternatives to their building proposal. IX. CONSENT AGENDA 1.
