City of Centerville City Council Meeting Minutes April 24, 2002 Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated Park and Recreation would be meeting with the Lions to discuss the gambling funds. Council Member Nelson asked if there is an EDC meeting scheduled. Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the EDC meeting was Thursday, April 25, 2002. Council Member Capra indicated that Shea Architects would be making a presentation at the next Council meeting. She also indicated they had agreed to come to the business dinner at no cost to discuss architectural design. Council Member Capra indicated volunteer recognition day would be Saturday, April 27, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and invited all interested residents to attend. Council Member Nelson asked for the report from City Attorney Hoeft on the exempt status of the public works director. City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had the report but had forgotten to bring it to the meeting. He then agreed to provide the report to the City Administrator the next day and discuss it with Council at the next meeting. XI. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT 1. Deferred Comp Report This matter is still pending. No report. 2. Finance Director Ellen Paulseth started April 24, 2002. 3. ABDO, ABDO. Eick & Mever The audit is completed and the Auditor will meet with the new Finance Director to discuss his findings. She also indicated that the auditor would like to present the findings to Council at the work session before discussing it at a Council meeting. 4. Emplovment Personnel Policv (Update) Ms. Moore-Sykes reported she had been working on the personnel policy as much as she could and noted she was approximately half way through it.
