City of Centerville Council Meeting Minutes June 23, 2004 6. Trio Inn & Kelly’s Korner Request for 2:00 a.m. Serving of Alcohol (Annual Renewal) Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar to authorize the City Clerk to sign the renewal form for the option 2:00 a.m. closing time for Kelly’s and Trio. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. 7. Dead Broke Saddle Club (Government Approval/Acknowledgement for Use of Gambling Funds) Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Capra to authorize the approval/acknowledgment for use of gambling funds. Council Member Capra asked when Dead Broke Saddle Club was due for license renewal. Ms. Paulseth indicated that she was not sure but they are scheduled to be bringing in a check for the past due 10% requirement. VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. 8. Letter of Credit – The Shores Subdivision Ms. Paulseth indicated that since the staff report was written the developer has paid the outstanding invoices for snowplowing and street sweeping. Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar to draw upon the existing letter of credit for all private improvements that have not been completed per the Public Works Director if the letter of credit is not renewed prior to the expiration date. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Council Member Lee asked that Mr. Palzer take a hard look at the property before any funds are released. 9. Letter of Credit – Pheasant Marsh II Subdivision (Resolution #04-030) Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve Resolution #04-030 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. 10. Council Pay Ordinance #52 – Consideration of Adjustment Council Member Broussard Vickers commented that it has been four years since Council’s pay has been adjusted. Page 4 of 9
