<br />City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />April 7, 2009 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson showed, on the screen, a site plan of the area. He stated that the <br /> <br />proposed project meets setbacks, as well as the landscape and parking requirements, and <br /> <br />has trees and plantings around the building and patio area. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lange inquired whether there would be permit areas given for the back of <br />the park versus for the front. <br /> <br />Mr. Yonke replied that all permits would be at the building, but showed where other <br />potential permits areas could be. He stated that the busiest times would be Thursday and <br />Friday nights in the summer. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Wood inquired as to how many trailers, motor homes, and campers this area <br />would then hold. Mr. Yonke stated that 4-5 big motor homes would fit, and that there <br />should be adequate room. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson inquired about how they would handle the sewer. Mr. Yonke <br />stated that they are looking at having two 1,250 gallon holding tanks. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mr. Yonke stated that the building is currently planned for 2-season use, but could possibly <br />made for 4-season use. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the Staff recommends approval, provided that Anoka <br />County Parks satisfies the City Council regarding their water and sanitary service <br />arrangements. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson showed the Commissioners drawings from the architect, which <br />showed the building will be insulated and a furnace installed. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion made bv Commissioner Mosher. seconded bv Commissioner Lanl!:e. to adopt <br />the findinl!:s and recommendation for approval attached.
