He then indicated Ground Development had selected 7 builders for <br />Phase I that would all have three lots to develop. <br /> <br />Mr. Runkle explained that Phase II would be done the same as Phase I with the exception <br />of the fact that they would like to start the improvements earlier in order to have lots <br />available for sale in late fall. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers commented that the property was located within <br />MUSA and followed the line as amended in the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked whether the request fell within what was approved. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that Phase II was to begin between January of 2002 and <br />2005. He then indicated that the developer's contract for Phase II would need to be <br />finalized and brought to Council for approval. <br /> <br />City Engineer Peterson asked how many lots were in Phase II. Mr. Runkle indicated <br />there were 27 lots in Phase II. Mr. Peterson commented that a majority ofthe utilities for <br />Phase II were already installed. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked that the developer be mindful of neighbors during constIuction so <br />as not to negatively impact them. <br /> <br />Mr. Runkle indicated that the developer has issues with sewer connections with two of <br />the neighbors but has agreed to work it out <br /> <br />2. Mr. Bill Martin (A TS&R - Centerville Elementary School Remodeling <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Martin addressed Council and presented the plans for the Centerville Elementary <br />School remodeling. He pointed out that the 16 year old temporary classrooms would be <br />removed, the loading dock expanded and the kitchen and cafeteria remodeled as well as a <br />new ventilation system. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that she, the Public Works Director and Mr. Martin had met <br />to discuss the plans and all zoning code requirements are met with this proposal. <br /> <br />3. Mr. Bill Bisek (Kellv's Korner), Mr. Dean Keller (Spring Lake Park Lion's) <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Bisek of 7098 Centerville Road addressed Council and had with him the Spring <br />Lake Park Lion's gambling manager and Mr. Thell the President of the Centerville Lions. <br /> <br />Mr. Bisek explained that when the MS Society moved its charitable gambling operation <br />from Kelly's he did some shopping around and found that the Spring Lake Park Lion's <br />club would be best able to help the Centerville Lions with some projects it wished to do <br />in the community. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 18 <br />
