<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 22, 2002 <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson explained that Mr. Peterson bad made it clear to Mr. Engler that <br />there was a meeting out at the property and it was decided the swale would be created <br />and that has been done. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra commented that Mr. Engler had asked for a retaining wall. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling said Mr. Engler can have a retaining wall ifhe wants to pay for it. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling commented that this process would have gone more quickly ifhe had gotten <br />cooperation from Mr. Engler. He then said he never entered onto Mr. Engler's property. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated that the swale is right at the back lot line. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling said he would like to be notified ifhe is on the agenda. <br /> <br />Council agreed that he would be notified ifhe was on the agenda but said this item was to <br />be a brief construction update and Mr. Engler appeared. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis asked if Mr. Drilling, being a resident of Lino Lakes on Mound <br />Trail, wanted to have Mound Trail fixed. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling indicated that the road is swampy by Mr. Buechler and said he is not sure <br />how to fix it. He then commented that Lino Lakes is a charter city and does not assess <br />for roads. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to approve Ordinance #24 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to approve Ordinance #51 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />XII. EXECUTIVE SESSION - PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTORIBUILDING OFFICIAL <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated Council would be recessing to executive session to discuss <br />the performance of the public works directorlbuilding official during the interim city <br />adminimator period. He then said that Mr. Pa1zer could ask to have the matter heard in <br />an open meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Pa1zer indicated he did not want the matter heard at the open meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Nelson to recess to executive session. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 8:58 p.m. <br /> <br />Page 14 of 15 <br />
