<br />3. Bid quantity is based on an application rate of 0.27 gallons per square <br />yard, for a 30-foot wide street. <br /> <br />4. The OWNER reserves the right to add or decrease the bid quantity at the <br />time of operations, due to revisions to application rates, or the factors. <br />However, no adjustment to the bid unit price as shown on the Bid Form <br />will be allowed. <br /> <br />B. Seal Coat Aggregate: <br /> <br />1. Measurement shall be based on tons of material placed and accepted: <br /> <br />a. Stockpiled aggregate material requires weight tickets specifically <br />noting the gross, net, and tare weights of material delivered. <br /> <br />2. Payment shall be made based on the bid item provided on the Bid Form, <br />for each specific aggregate type, and include the following: <br /> <br />a. Delivery and stockpile of aggregate. <br /> <br />b. Initial aggregate testing. <br /> <br />c. Specified surface preparation. <br /> <br />d. Calibration of aggregate spreader. <br /> <br />e. Hauling and spreading of aggregate. <br /> <br />f. Rolling and compaction of aggregate. <br /> <br />g. Initial sweeping costs (except the second sweeping). <br /> <br />3. Second Sweeping: <br /> <br />a. Payment on an hourly basis under the bid item for pick-up broom <br />including operator. <br /> <br />b. Payment made only for hours actually spent sweeping. <br /> <br />c. No compensation will be made if the second sweeping is not <br />performed. <br /> <br />4.
