This issue should be discussed further at a future joint
meeting.

Public Services Director DeGardner added it would be very easy to extend that trail to the
freeway if funds become available.

It was the consensus Councihnembers to include a potential trail in the resolution that
will be drafted in relating to CSAH 14.

A resident of Lino Lakes stated that getting across the interstate on CSAH 14 is not the
only problem because of the ramps. .He suggested building a pedestrian ramp at Cedar.

Mayor Miron stated Staff will be sensitive to that issue when drafting the resolution.

OTHER BUSINESS

Mayor Bergeson stated the City Administrators can discuss meeting dates for future
meetings.

Mayor Swedberg stated water is a big issue because the community is growing.
Additional space for water storage is needed and each City does not need to build
separate water towers. He stated he does not know what Lino Lakes' intention is with that roadway and there
have been quality issues in the past. This item should also be discussed at a future
meeting.

Mayor Bergeson stated he has seem some plans for that roadway including a concept plan
for a possible north/south roadway in that area.

Councilmember Graoger stated that Elmcrest to the south and issues with Clearwater
Creek should also be discussed.

Mayor Bergeson asked if the City of Hugo uses the County for their police protection and
if Hugo bas long range plans for water service.

Mayor Miron stated Hugo does use the County for police service and also for road
maintenance.
