<br />. <br /> <br />City of Centerville <br />July 24, 2002 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Howard Juni addressed Council and indicated he is running for County <br />Conunissioner in District 6. He then gave a brief overview of his background. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg thanked him for coming. <br /> <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #4 (Zoning & Land Use) <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg opened the public hearing at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that there have been no conunents received at City Hall <br />concerning the revisions to Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that all of his comments were more draft related and not of <br />any substance. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated he would work with staff to review for the grammatical <br />changes he has. <br /> <br />There was no one present to speak on Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Capra, seconded bv Council Member Nelson to close <br />the public hearinl!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously, <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg closed the public hearing at 8:36 p.m. <br /> <br />V. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Proposed Massage Parlor Ordinance #70 <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that the Planning and Zoning Commission had worked on <br />Ordinance #70 and have passed it onto Council for review and approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg asked if the proposed ordinances came from the same city or were they <br />from different cities. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated they were from different cities and also reference the form <br />from the League of Minnesota Cities. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated that they are written differently but are so close in nature that <br />they should mesh. He then asked if City Attorney Hoeft had reviewed the ordinances. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had not reviewed them. <br /> <br />Page 2 of22 <br /> <br />l <br />
