Carl Buechler Overweight Permit Request (Street Reconstruction) <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council Member <br />Travis to approve the overweil!ht permit based on the recommendation of the City <br />Enl!ineer. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Buechler asked what the limit would be. Mr. Peterson indicated that 7-ton would be <br />preferable. <br /> <br />Mr. Buechler indicated he would get quotes on both 7 ton and 9 ton and then asked if <br />Lino Lakes would want to refinish their section of the roadway at the same time to share <br />in the costs. Ms. Moore-Sykes suggested contacting the City Manager for Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Peterson indicated he would contact the City Engineer for Lino Lakes to discuss the <br />matter. ' <br /> <br />Mr. Buechler asked for a map showing the Lino Lakes area for the bid ifit is decided that <br />a joint bid is required. He then said that he feels a joint bid would provide for a better <br />pnce. <br /> <br />4. Acorn Creek Park Trail (Update) <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated he reviewed the trail and Mr. Travis has lowered the culverts and <br />put gravel over them in anticipation of paving them when the rain stops. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis indicated the blacktop was to be installed today but was rained <br />out. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked Mr. Peterson to review it for the next meeting to make <br />sure it is done. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson recommended keeping an eye on the culvert for runoff and making sure it is <br />ready before blacktopping. <br /> <br />5. Capital Funds Proiects Inquiry/Investigation <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked for an update on this matter. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson commented that the City has been through a lot of financial <br />problems and she feels that a state audit would be a good thing for the Council to request. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers disagreed. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she spoke to Ms. Paulseth today and asked what it <br />would take to do an internal audit of two commercial properties developed at the same <br />time. She then suggested auditing Goetz Landscaping and Apple Tree Square to verify <br />that everything was paid rather than going through an audit. <br /> <br />Page 5 of22 <br />
