Centervi((e, M'II[ 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 "';Ja;c (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02 - 058 <br />CONSIDERATION OF ASSESSING AN ADMINISTRATIVE FINE FOR A 3rd <br />OFFENSE VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE #66 - TOM THUMB FOOD MARKET <br />(STORE #295) <br />THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLVES: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville met on November 13, 2002, at <br />City Hall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of CenterviIle has been notified by the <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department that Tom Thumb Food Market (Store #295) recently <br />failed their Compliance Check for the year 2002 and upon further research, also failed <br />their 2001 & 2000 Compliance Check; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville has accepted the Police Chief's <br />recommendation not to renew Tom Thumb Food Market's (Store #295) tobacco license <br />for the year 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville discussed and considered <br />assessing an administrative fine for violations of Ordinance #66, The Sale of Tobacco and <br />the non-renewal of their license for the upcoming year of 2003; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE LET IF BE RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, imposes an administrative fine of $750.00 on Tom Thumb Food <br />Markets for the aforementioned Ordinance Violation and takes action not to renew their <br />submitted tobacco renewal license application for the year 2003. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the City ofCenterville this 13th day of November, 2002. <br /> <br />Mayor Tim Swedberg <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Kim Moore-Sykes, City Administrator <br />
