<br />City Of Centerville <br />1880 Main Street <br />Centerville, MN 55038 <br /> <br />December 10, 2002 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor & City Council members; <br /> <br />I am writing to request that you consider my appointment to the City ofCenterville's <br />Economic Development Committee (EDe). <br /> <br />My reasons for wishing to join this committee are fairly simple; I think it would be a <br />wonderful learning opportunity for myself and at the same time serve my community. I <br />would hope my experiences and work ethic would add value to the committee's work. <br /> <br />I have enclosed my professional resume for your review. Additional information you <br />may find pertinent is as follows; <br /> <br />,', <br /> <br />My wife Pamela, my daughter Anna and I have been residents of Centerville since July of <br />1999. Anna attends school at Centerville Elementary, and Pamela works at the Northeast <br />YMCA as a fitness instructor and evaluator. I grew up in St. Paul and graduated from <br />Cretin High SchooL <br /> <br />I am currently a member of the White Bear Lake United Methodist Church, where I serve <br />as the Stewardship Campaign Chairperson. I also teach Sunday school and work as a <br />youth mentor. <br /> <br />I am also an active member in several professional associations including the American <br />Logistics Association (ALA), and Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA). <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />L~__ __ __ _ <br />
