<br /> <br />tervi[le <br /> <br />IT, ,r' fi"f 1"'-7' <br />.u>tabus eu. l!J:J <br /> <br />1880 !Main Street " CenteM{{e,:M'J{ 55038 <br />(651) 429.3232 () ;Fa,t (651) 429.8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02 - 066 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR THE <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE FOR THE YEAR 2003 <br /> <br />THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLVES: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city council of the city ofCenterville did adopt a proposed property tax <br />levy for the year 2003 on the 28th day of August, 2002, in the amount of$1,480,623; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the council did hold a public hearing on the 9th day of December, 2002 to <br />obtain input regarding said levy; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the council also held a public hearing on the 19th day of December, 2002 <br />for the purpose of obtaining input on the adoption of the final property tax levy. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Revenue has certified the maximum levy <br />limitation to the city ofCenterville, in the amount of$1,562,680, for the year 2003. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council of the city of Centerville <br />hereby adopts the final property tax levy for the year 2003 in the amount of$1,480,623. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is authorized and directed to <br />certify said property tax levy to the Minnesota Department of Revenue and forward a <br />copy of this resolution to the Anoka County Auditor. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the City ofCenterville this 19th day of December, 2002. <br /> <br />Mayor Tim Swedberg <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
