ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br />y ~ <br />1. 1540 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers stated there are indications someone is living there. <br /> <br />2. Capital Proi ects <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft had no update. <br /> <br />3. Building Permit Fee Review <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reviewed the building permit fee information with Council and <br />indicated that the City charges up front for some things that other cities charge at a later <br />date. She stated staff is working on getting fees from other cities. It appears building <br />fees need to be updated, but recommendation is that Council keep fees as they are until <br />the new code is in effect. She indicated Council has a draft of the proposed language in <br />their packets. <br /> <br />4. Pending Issues <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson reminded Council about passing bylaws on December 19, 2002. <br />She commended Ms. Moore-Sykes on the overtime report. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated staff had been having difficulty with hooking up the <br />scanner. She stated her husband had resolved this problem over the weekend. She added <br />that Robert Thine has offered to record his genealogy information, so one computer will <br /> <br />Page 20 of21 <br />
