Council Members Nelson and Travis abstained. All in favor. Motion carried. 2. November 27,2002 Council Meeting Minutes Motion bv Council Member Capra, seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers to table approval of the November 27. 2002 Council Meeting Minutes pending review. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. VIII. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES y ~ 1. 1540 Peltier Lake Drive Council Member Broussard Vickers stated there are indications someone is living there. 2. Capital Proi ects City Attorney Hoeft had no update. 3. Building Permit Fee Review Ms. Moore-Sykes reviewed the building permit fee information with Council and indicated that the City charges up front for some things that other cities charge at a later date. She stated staff is working on getting fees from other cities. It appears building fees need to be updated, but recommendation is that Council keep fees as they are until the new code is in effect. She indicated Council has a draft of the proposed language in their packets. 4. Pending Issues Council Member Nelson reminded Council about passing bylaws on December 19, 2002. She commended Ms. Moore-Sykes on the overtime report. Council Member Capra indicated staff had been having difficulty with hooking up the scanner. She stated her husband had resolved this problem over the weekend. She added that Robert Thine has offered to record his genealogy information, so one computer will Page 20 of21
