The amount of said fee shall be determined by the <br />Council. The Contractor may collect the fees directly, if <br />authorized by the Council, and in such case, he shall keep <br />accurate records of all his fee collections and he shall report <br />his fee collections monthly to the Clerk of the City of <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />The statements for such fees shall be sent to the place or <br />person served at such intervals as the Council shall determine. <br />The Council may provide for a cash discount on such bills or for <br />a discount for prepayment of an account. <br /> <br />The contract with the independent contractor shall be based <br />upon unit price. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. <br /> <br />It shall be lawful in case any person shall default in the <br />payment of the garbage collection fees for the City Council to ' <br />collect its fee therefore from said person or the owner of the <br />real property from which the garbage was collected, by civil <br />action or be assessing the same against the real estate. <br />" <br />SECTION 7. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />All licenses granted for the collection of garbage prior to <br />the adoption of this ordinance shall terminate on the effeotive <br />date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. <br /> <br />Any persons violating <br />upon conviction thereof by <br />$100,00 or imprisonment for <br /> <br />any provision of this ordinance shall <br />subject to a fine of not exceeding <br />not exceeding 90 days. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. <br /> <br />All ordinance or provisions thereof inconsistent with the <br />provisions of the ordinance are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 10. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
