<br />. <br /> <br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />May 27, 2009 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that this summer the City will have more focus on <br />projects and will employ seasonal park workers, The City staff would like authorization to <br />purchase a small pickup truck for them to use. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee inquired as to how many pickup trucks the City has currently. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied that the City currently has 3 pickup trucks and 1 small <br />dump truck, which are used every day by the four regular staff. The staff proposes <br />something like Ford Ranger. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee stated that he would approve the purchase, if the pickup truck is given <br />a thorough inspection before it is purchased. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Fehrenbacher. to <br />annrove the purchase of a used pickup truck for use bv Public Works/staff and <br />seasonal helD. not to exceed_ t5,OOO. under the condition that it e:ets a mechanical <br />inspection nrior to Durehase. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />4. StlCCial Assessment A(!l"eement Waiver ofHearinl! & Appeal <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City is currently giving the property owners the <br />price, having them sign the Waiver, and having them agree to be assessed. He stated that <br />60 property owners have signed up and 19 of those would be on Peltier Lake Drive where <br />water main is now being installed. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Viekers. to <br />aDDrove the Special Assessment A2Teement Waiver of Hcarlne: & ADDeal. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. Res. #09-014 - Adoptinl! the Storm Water Proiect Plans for Proiects 2009.01. <br />2009.02 & the Downtown Storm Water System Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that revisions were made based on public comments. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Paar. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. <br />to aDDrove Res. #09-014 - Adoptinl! the Storm Water Proiect Plans for Proiects <br />2009.01. 2009.02 & the Downtown Storm Water System Imnrovements. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />6. Consideration to ApDrove Stormwater System Annual Reoort <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that a Public Hearing had been held. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Paar. to approve the <br />Stormwater System Annual Renort.
