Peltier Lake Drive Area Street & Utility Imorovements. Change Order #3 _ <br />Revised Costs (PalI.es 70a - 70c) <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that a soil boring was taken and the typical depth would be 3 <br />feet. It was discovered that the peet is much deeper than 4 feet. His recommendation is to <br />use wood chips, because they would not decompose under water. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz also stated that the project called for sewer repair. However, since this <br />issue is minor, it will be left alone at this point. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee suggested that good documentation and pictures be taken. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar stated that this section is one of the worst in the project. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that they will look into this more with American. He stated that <br />this is the worst case scenario, and they will hopefully be able to get the cost down. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />CounciImember Fehrenbacher stated that this is not something the City wants to pay, but <br />they know it needs to be done. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers stated that this is the best engineering that can be done <br />as of today. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Pan. seconded bv Council Member Fehrenbacher. to <br />auurove Peltier Lake Drive Area Street & Utility Improvements. Budget <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson distributed budget information and stated that he has <br />tried to sort out what the Legislature has done and explain what that means for next <br />year's budget.
