<br />...~. <br />... <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />MEETING <br />OCTOBER 6, 1998 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereot: the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City <br />of Centerville held its regularly scheduled meeting on October 6, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. at <br />City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Chairperson Kathy Welk <br />Commission Members: <br />John Buckbee <br />AI LaMotte <br />Brian Hanson <br /> <br />ABSENT: Linda Broussard-Vickers <br /> <br />STAFF: fun March, City Administrator <br />Ry-Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />************************************************************************ <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Gaustad administered the oath of office to Brian :Hanson, then he joined the <br />Commission. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> <br />Center Villa Preliminary Plat Consideration (6995 - 20th Ave.) <br />Mr. Willie Lessard (6995 - 20th Ave.) addressed the Commission and gave a brief <br />overview of the proposed Center Villa residential subdivision. Mr. Lessard commented <br />that both the Engineer's and Building Official's noted concerns are addressed (See <br />attached). <br /> <br />Mr. Lessard identified the R2 required 100 ft. minimum lot width at the set back, and <br />requested a variance on Block 2, Lots 2,3,4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 14 because the lot width <br />slightly varies. Mr. Buckbee commented on the generosity of the lot sizes in the R2 <br />district. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed R2 district requirements, the minimal width (100 ft.) and the <br />subdivision design. 1-'Ir.
