<br />. Help facilitate Staff Department Meetings twice a month during the transition <br />period to ensure that the work of the City is getting done, projects are prioritized, <br />and the team continues to work together effectively. . <br /> <br />METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION: <br /> <br />Dr. James Lynn, and Lisa Lynn consulting psychologists, will perform the services in <br />this proposal. The implementation steps are as follows. <br /> <br />1. Review this proposal, sign it, and send a copy back to Lynn & Associates. <br /> <br />2. Lynn & Associates reviews existing information the Council has from previous City <br />Administrator searches and prepares a new packet for the current search. <br /> <br />3. Jim and Lisa meet with the Council members, to review the whole recruitment- <br />hiring process for the City Administrator, showing steps and who would do what. <br /> <br />4. With the Council's approval, the search process would begin immediately. <br /> <br />3. Jim Lynn and Lisa Lynn will meet periodically with the Mayor to review findings. <br /> <br />4. At the same time, Jim Lynn will meet with City Staff to give them feedback on the <br />work done previously. <br /> <br />5. During the transition period, Jim will facilitate department level meetings to ensure <br />that the work of the City is getting done and this team is developed during this <br />critical period for the City. <br /> <br />BENEFITS OF THIS APPROACH: <br /> <br />The following benefits should accrue as a result of this initiative. <br /> <br />· The Council will have an opportunity to define and share in the process of selecting <br />a new City Administrator with assistance of a consulting psychological firm to help <br />ensure that the procedure is legal and the best qualified candidate is selected <br /> <br />· Staff will have a clearer sense of their respective roles and responsibilities with <br />feedback from the first Report and participation in Department Meetings. <br /> <br />· The City will be well managed and run during this transition period. <br /> <br />5435 Wedgewood Drive, Shorewood, MN 55331 <br /> <br />(952) 474-2193 <br />
