<br />, <br /> <br />Mel11o... <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Member <br /> <br />FROM: Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: PolicyJProcedures for Marquee, Web Site, Newsletter & Cable Channel <br /> <br />DATE: August 6, 2004 <br /> <br />Upon receipt of Council Member Capra's email regarding the placement of <br />information/community events on the City's marquee. <br /> <br />Additional thought has been placed on this issue regarding placement of same on the web <br />site, cable channel and newsletter and a policy that would also involve these venues. <br /> <br />I contacted Rick from the League of Minnesota Cities in regards to any of the venues and <br />policies/procedures for same. I have attached the information that was forwarded. <br /> <br />I contacted Jean, City ofLino Lakes, who informed me that the City is in the process of <br />revamping their web site and will be working toward a policy. They do not have a <br />marquee. I contacted Michelle, City of Hugo, who informed me that they also do not <br />have a marquee or policy. I contacted Jane Cross, City of Blaine, who put me in touch <br />with Heidi who pointed me to their web site. They also stated that they do not have a <br />marquee or a formal policy. I have attached information from their web site for your <br />information. <br />
