<br />Anoka CSAH 14 (I-35W to 1-35E) Study <br />April 22, 2004 Public Information Meeting <br />Chomonix Golf Course - Clubhouse <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota <br /> <br />Meeting Summary <br />and <br />Summary of Public Comments <br /> <br />(prepared by: Michael A. Wozniak, AICP - Senior Planner, SRF Consulting Group, h).c.) <br /> <br />The second of three public information meetings to be held as part of Phase One of the Anoka <br />CSAH 14 (I-35W to 1-35E) Study was held on April 22, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the <br />Chomonix Golf Course in Lino Lakes. The meeting was organized in an Open House format <br />with a variety presentation boards displayed including the following: Various Highway <br />Improvement Altematives (1, lA, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5A), Environmental Analysis Maps (A & B), Future <br />(2030) Traffic V ollune Analysis, Reconstruction Segments (Map and Descriptive Criteria), and <br />Evaluation Matrix (framework for evaluating altematives). Anoka County and SRF Consulting <br />Staff were present to help answer questions and listen to comments from those in attendance at <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />. 47 people placed their names on the sign-in sheet for the meeting. <br /> <br />. It is estimated that total attendance was at least 65. <br /> <br />. Those attending the public information meeting included area residents, business owners, <br />local government officials, agency officials, and other interested parties. <br /> <br />. A breakdown of those who signed-in at the meeting includes the following number of <br />mailing addresses by community: Centerville (22), Lino Lakes (11), Hugo (9), and Other <br />(5). <br /> <br />As part of the effort to inform area residents, business owners, and other interested parties over <br />1700 copies of a newsletter were mailed out a week prior to the meeting. The newsletter <br />included information about the study including the day, time and location of the public <br />information meeting. Also mailed out with the newsletter was a "comment" form set up as a <br />three fold mailer with the return address being the Anoka County Highway Department. At the <br />meeting a handout was provided explaining the purpose of the meeting and identifying next steps <br />in the study process. Additional copies of the comment form were available at the meeting. As <br />of May 1, 2004, 13 Comments Forms or letters have been received. <br />
