I live nearly across the road <br />from this duplex. It has been sitting empty since 2000. The City of Centerville mows the grass on a regular <br />basis but otherwise the property is left in disrepair. The hedges grow unruly and miscellaneous trees have <br />cropped up beside the house. It is unsightly. <br /> <br />On several occasions, I have had to go over to the house and close the screen door because it was banging <br />in the wind. <br /> <br />Having an abandoned building so close has caused additional problems. I have lived at 1687. Sorel Street <br />since July 1995. I have never had mice in my house until last fall and this spring. I'm a farm girl. Mice <br />damage property and I believe that having empty property in such a close proximity has hadm adverse <br />effect on my property. Please remove it as soon as feasibility possible. <br /> <br />I don't have the most beautiful property in Centerville but I would also like the City to ask my neighbor, <br />Dave Kilian to clean up his back yard, adjacent to my property. <br /> <br />I also have three lovely dumpsters on the property North of me. I know that is not going to change but there <br />are rotting mattresses and box spring lying on the ground that need to be removed. <br /> <br />Thank you for your time in this matter. <br /> <br />
