Defined Part-Time <br />Employee as one who works less than 32 hours per week, and removed all references <br />throughout the policy to Part-Time Employees accruing benefits. <br /> <br />Section 3.4, Classification of Job Duties: Updated salary range definition to coincide <br />with pay equity guidelines. <br /> <br />Section 6.7, Compensatory Time: Added provisions to allow for aClirual and use of <br />compensatory, in lieu of overtime, on a limited basis. l(D {.vi" 10W'1"~ <br /> <br />Section 8, Personal Time Off: Replaced all language referring to vacation and sick <br />leave with new PTO policy. <br /> <br />Section 8.2, PTO Accrual: Restored accrual rates to the 2002 level as compromise to <br />not adopting union equivalent. The City is a <br />covered entity; however, due to the number of employees, the provisions ofthe Act <br />would not apply unless the City specifically adopted the provisions. City Council <br />should decide whether or not the City wishes to adopt the provisions of the FMLA <br />or stipulate different provisions. <br /> <br />Section 10, Temporary Light Duty Policy: Added light duty policy to accommodate <br />workers' comp regulations. <br /> <br />Section 11, Insurance Plans: Removed old language and replaced with new cafeteria <br />plan language. <br />
