Unit exposures with street <br />frontage shall be planted at the boulevard. <br />3 Tree spacing must include trees at the boulevard at <br />minimum fifty (50) foot intervals. <br />4 The calculation for the number of foundation plantings is <br />based upon one (1) planting for each lineal foot of building <br />perimeter and parking lot perimeter.. Plantings may be <br />grouped rather than dispersed at ten (10)foot intervals. <br />5 The required number of trees is based upon a minimum of <br />eight (8) trees or one (1) tree per three thousand (3000) <br />square feet of site area, whichever is greater. Tree spacing <br />must include trees at the boulevard at minimum fifty (50) <br />foot intervals. <br /> <br />Section 160-020: Minimum Standards. <br /> <br />A. Overstory Trees: <br /> <br />1. Deciduous Trees: Two and one half (21/2) inch caliper <br />planting size, balled and burlapped. <br /> <br />2. Coniferous Trees: Six (6) feet in height planting size, <br />balled and burlapped. <br /> <br />B. Foundation Plantings: Coniferous and deciduous shrubs shall be <br />planted at a minimum of one-third the mature spread and height of <br />typical growth habits. <br /> <br />C. Boulevard Trees: All boulevard trees shall be hardwood shade trees <br />or flowering trees. <br /> <br />O. Overstory Mix: When multiple quantities of overstory trees are <br />required, at least seventy-five percenL(75%) of the trees required <br />shall be deciduous trees. <br /> <br />E.
