<br />Ms. Scott also mentioned that she has been working with Joe Goetz (Goetz Landscape <br />and Irrigation) regarding the possibility of Goetz Landscape becoming more involved <br />with the promotions and advertising of Earth Day by offering some type of saplings or <br />flower seeds. Mr. Goetz is currently checking on prices. <br /> <br />Mr. LeBlanc offered to staffa table representing Centerville's Parks and Recreation at the <br />Wargo Nature Center on Earth Day. Mr. Walter will research and organize the Parks and <br />Recreation Earth Day activities offered within the City. <br /> <br />Electricity at Laurie LaMotte Park <br />Ms. Lien distrIbuted a quote received from City Engineer, Tom Peterson regarding all of <br />the needs at Laurie LaMotte Park. The quote included cost estimates on the following <br />items: sanitary sewer service, water service, parking lot improvements, <br />concession/restroom building and electrical power. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. DeVine, seconded by Mr. Peterson to recommend to City Council to <br />accept Requests for Proposals (RFP's) for installing electricity through Laurie <br />LaMotte Park per Bonestroo's specifications. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc's Considerations for Centerville <br />Mr. LeBlanc had requested this be added to the agenda to discuss the recommendations <br />he had presented to City Council regarding his goals for the Parks and Recreation <br />Committee and other City issues. Mr. LeBlanc commented that a Skate Park should be a <br />top priority, along with specifications for trails, land use and open space. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Monthly Report to Patricia Scott CLeJournaD <br />The committee directed Ms. DeVine to update Ms. Scott on Family Skate Nights, rink <br />hours and City Council's visit to the Parks and Recreation meeting. <br /> <br />Set Agenda <br /> <br />1.
