<br />, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />March 20,2001 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereot: the Centerville Economic Development Committee held their <br />regularly scheduled meeting on March 20,2001 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Aimee Fairbrother <br />Betsy Scheller <br />Tim Rehbine <br />Rick Terway <br />Paul Montain <br />Dick Travis (Council liaison) <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Michelle Moser <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Kris Sweeney <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Aimee Fairbrother called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.rn. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Mr Rehbine to approve the January 16, 2001 Economic Development Committee <br />Meeting minutes, seconded by Mr. Terway. Mr. Montain abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Montain to approve the February 20, 2001 Economic Development Committee <br />Meeting minutes, seconded by Mr. Rehbine. All in favor. Motioned carried. <br /> <br />Ms. Fairbrother handed out the sealed ballots for Citizen of the Year and Business of the Year to be <br />opened. They were all opened and handed to Mr. Rehbine to tally. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />Desil!n Team - .. Ideas in Action" <br />City Theme- Historical <br /> <br />Ms. Fairbrother received a letter from council member Capra. This letter was in regards to historical <br />markers that Ms. Capra was working on when she was a member of EDC. Her letter identified the two <br />(2) places in Iron Mountain, MI that bad the historical markers. One marker was at the Italian Church <br />and the other was at the Dickerson County Court House. The Church's marker stated when the parish <br />first was established and the age of the building. Ms. Capra stated that she had spoke with Father <br />
