<br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CENlERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 21, 2000 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Economic Development <br />Committee held their regularly scheduled meeting on November 21, 2000 at City Hall, <br />1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Tim Rehbine <br />Committee Member Lori Dorn (departed at 8:10 p.rn.) <br />Committee Member John Magill <br />Committee Member Michelle Moser <br />Committee Member Betsy Scheller <br />Committee Member Mary Capra <br />Committee Member Dick Travis (Council liaison) <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Paul Montain <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Kris Sweeney <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Katie Erickson from Hair Update and Tan arrived approximately 7:05pm. She stated that <br />Hair Update and Tan would be relocating into Lloyd Drilling's new building. They will <br />open a Spa, which would include; tanning, hair salon, barbershop, pedicures, manicures, <br />etc. She currently has 12 employees, and when they move into their new building they <br />will have more tanning booths. She also mentioned that her husband would be putting a <br />movie rental store next door. <br /> <br />One ofthe committee members asked how the process of moving into Centerville was. <br />Ms. Erickson stated the move went very smoothly. <br /> <br />The Committee and Ms Erickson discussed briefly the sign ordinance. Mr. Travis asked <br />Ms. Erickson if the size of a sign matters to local businesses. Ms. Erickson explained <br />that it's not necessarily the size but a sign is important to any business. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Tim Rehbine called the meeting to order at approximately 7:40 p.rn. <br />
