Offensive Signs. f'lo signs shall contain any indecent or <br />offensive ~ic:ure or written matter. <br /> <br />727.22. Required Signs. In all zoning districts one (1) identifi- <br />cation sign sl1al \ be required per building, except accessory structures and <br />residential bnildings whiCh shall be required only to display the street <br />address or prl)pe:"ty number. <br /> <br />727.23. Advertising signs shall not be located closer than three <br />thQusand (3,OO:J) feet to any other sign on the same side of a street or <br />highway. <br /> <br />727.24. "IuHi-faced signs shall not exceed two (2) times the allQ~led <br />square footag~' or a single-faced sign. <br /> <br />727.25. ~x::ept for more res tri cti ve sub-sections of thi s Si gn Secti on, <br />no sign that (.(c,~eds one hundred (100) square feet in area shall be erected <br />or maintained: <br /> <br />(1) W:'lich would prevent any traveler on any street from obtaining <br />a clear view of approaching vehicles on the same street for a <br />distance of five hundred (500) feet. <br /> <br />(2) Which would be closer than one thousand three hundred fifty <br />(I,350) feet to a national, state or local park, historic <br />site, picnic or rest area, church or school. <br /> <br />(3) Which would be closer than one hundred (100) feet to residen- <br />t"lal structures. <br /> <br />(4) WI',ich 1-Iould partly or totally obstruct the view of a lake, <br />r"iver, rocks, ~Iooded area, stream or other point of natural <br />and scenic beauty. <br /> <br />727.25. Si qns by Conditi ona 1 Use Permit. vlhere a use is permitted <br />in d zoning di~it1^ict by Conditional use permit, the sign for that use shall <br />require a conditional use permit unless the sign is otherwise provided for <br />in 'his ordinadce. <br /> <br />727.27.iigl1s in Agricultural Districts. No signs shall be permitted <br />in ,jn agricultural district except the following enumerated signs if auth- <br />ori <:ed by a s i';n permi t or other permi t as provi ded in thi s Ordi nance. <br /> <br />(1) Type of Signs Al1olved. Nameplate, real estate sales, ground, <br />political, temporary, wall, identification and business. <br /> <br />(2) No sign shall be so constructed as to have more than two (2) <br />surfaces. <br /> <br />115 <br />
