New stop signs were installed at the intersection of 73rd Street and Quebec Street as
directed by Council.

. The playground installation is scheduled for 8:00 tomorrow morning at Royal Meadows
Park. Volunteers are desperately needed. If you can help for a couple of hours, please
show up at the park.

. The pre-application for the Livable Communities Act Grant was delivered to Saint Paul
this afternoon. Hopefully, we will be invited to submit a full application.

. The joint meeting between the City Council and Planning Commission was successful. A
final draft of Ordinance #4 will be available at the next Council meeting.

. Rick Carlson wants to start grading the former Prachar property south of LaMotte Park.
He has received his RCWD permit. Mr. Carlson is upgrading his home value expectations
to $250,000 - $350,000. He will be looking for Council approval of his grading plan and
grading permit at the next Council meeting.

. I have been in contact with a developer that is expressing interest in purchasing the
property south of Center Oaks owned by Gor-em. A portion of this property comes into
MUSA in 2001.

· Enjoy your weekend!

.

6/2/00
