<br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council <br />Member Travis to annrove the Plans and Snecifications and order bids for <br />Hunter's Crossin!!:. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ordinance #4 - AnVroval of Summary for Publication <br /> <br />Mr. March noted that once Council decides to approve Ordinance #4 a summary <br />of the Ordinance would need to be published. He indicated the Council would be <br />responsible for approving a summary that covers all issues within the specific <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber asked ifthis were to be approved if the Council would be under <br />a time constraint for approval. Mr. March stated the Council would have no time <br />frame but the summary would need to be amended if changes were made to <br />Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Travis. to annrove the Summarv for Publication <br />for Ordinance #4. Motion failed for lack of second. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked when this issue would proceed at the Council <br />level. Mr. March noted this issue could be done at a workshop meeting to address <br />any and all issues before approval. <br /> <br />Ray De Vine noted he could be present if a work shop meeting were held for <br />additional discussion. Mr. March was advised to set a joint meeting for the <br />Planning Commission and City Council for further discussion on Ordinance #4. <br />Mr. March suggested July 19, 2000 for the joint meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Whittet asked ifthe workshop dates could be placed on the web site for <br />information to the residents along with Ordinance #4. Mr. March stated this <br />would be passed along to the web site manager. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Travis. seconded bv Council Member Nelson to <br />hold a workshon meetin!!: on Julv 19. 2000 for a Joint discussion with the <br />Plannin!!: and Zonin!!: Commission and City Council on Ordinance #4 at 6:30 <br />n.m. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Fete des Lacs PermitsILions Club <br /> <br />Mr. March noted the ball field fences at LaMotte Park needed discussion among <br />the Council to allocate funding for the fences. He indicated the Lion's would be <br />donating all labor and the use of a bobcat for the professional installation of the <br />fence. <br /> <br />Mr. March explained the cost of the fences would be $4,500 for all materials from <br />Menards. He noted the Little League organization is not interested in financing <br />the fencing at this time. <br /> <br />8 <br />
