<br />Motion by Mayor Wilharber. seconded by Council Member Sweeney to <br />allow for temporary parkin!! at the public works site as a Park and Ride and <br />to authorize staff to draft a !!rant proposal for Met Council fundin!! and a <br />special meetin!! be held on May 31. 2000 to discuss this item in more detail. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Cable Operator Resignation and Receptionist Position <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Travis. seconded by Council Member Nelson to <br />accept the resi!!nation oBhe Cable Operator. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Mayor WillJarber read through the Cable Operator and Receptionist position <br />advertisements. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Wilharber. seconded by Council Member Nelson to accept <br />the lan!!ua!!e submitted by Staff for the Cable Operator and Receptionist <br />pOsitions for the City as stated. AU in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Ordinance #4 <br /> <br />Carl Solberg, 1800 Center Street, stated he is concerned with the Ordinance and if <br />he is going to be restricted from building a shed on his corner lot. <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney stated the Council is working on this Ordinance to <br />better define side and rear yards. Mayor Wilharber encouraged Mr. Solberg to <br />contact the City Building Inspector to review his plans before this issue moved <br />forward with the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Solberg stated he is waiting to hear back from the City Building Inspector on <br />his plans and he was going to review Ordinance #4. Mr. March noted that <br />accessory structures are allowed on all lots within the City and they do have to <br />meet standards set within the Ordinance. He indicated that accessory structures <br />would be approved by staff unless there were issues that did not meet City <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Travis. seconded by Council Member Nelson to <br />hold a ioint meetin!! with the Plannin!! and Zonin!! Commission for further <br />discussion on Ordinance #4 on May 31. 2000 at 6:00 p.m. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Citv Administrator Evaluation <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber noted this item would be discussed under an Executive Session <br />for the City Council. <br /> <br />Page 10 ofI2 <br /> <br />L_ <br />
