<br />hauling would benefit the City by providing a trail to the City through grant <br />funding. <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney stated a bond could be requested for this permit, as <br />well, to hold them accountable for the trucks hauling on City roadways. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson stated this project would require 30 loads on LaMotte <br />Drive along with the previous request and it would be difficult for the City to <br />determine which hauling company was damaging the roadway. She indicated she <br />would like to see this item tabled until further information could be gained from <br />the applicant. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers stated this applicant does have an alternative <br />route and encouraged that route to be used. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to deny the Oyerweil!:ht Permit for WB Miller from Main Street to <br />LaMotte Drive and SUl!:l!:est they use the alternative route previously used or <br />reduce the weil!:ht limit. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis asked that road weight restrictions be placed on a future <br />agenda for further Council discussion. The Council concurred with this <br />suggestion. <br /> <br />Anoka County Youth Services <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson brought the Quad Press article to the attention of the <br />Council. She noted a committee is being brought together to assess the needs of <br />youth in Anoka County. Council Member Nelson asked that staff follow this <br />committee and update the Council at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber explained this was an important issue which would eliminate <br />future problems. Council Member Broussard Vickers suggested staff draft a letter <br />to Anoka County Commissioner Langfeld to request a copy of all board minutes <br />and updates. Council Member Nelson stated this was a good suggestion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council <br />Member Travis to direct staff to write a letter to Anoka County <br />Commissioner Lanl!:feld reouestinl!: a COpy of all minutes and updates of the <br />Youth Services Committee. All in favor.
