NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Peltier Lake Drive "No Parking" <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber indicated the City has received numerous letters about the <br />parking issue. Mr. March stated a complaint was addressed at the previous <br />Council meeting. A letter from the City was sent asking for the residents who live <br />along Peltier Lake Drive to offer comment on what their feelings were about the <br />current parking situation. Several ideas were exchanged, including the <br />installation of "No Parking" signs along the entire road or to install "No Parking" <br />on the section of the road near the pond. Currently the road has posted "No <br />Parking" signs on the North side of the road. <br /> <br />Elizabeth Wagner of 1525 Peltier Lake Drive agrees with the current "No <br />Parking" signs on the road and feels traffic goes through the area at a higher speed <br />than posted. If speed limits were obeyed, the potential for accidents would be <br />lessened, <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated he would be contacting Police Chief Joel Heckman to <br />inform him of the issue and request the police to keep a closer watch on the traffic <br />in that area. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Sweeney <br />to eliminate further action re!!ardin!! parkin!! restrictions on Peltier Lake <br />Drive. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Mutual Aid Agreement - Hugo <br /> <br />Mr. March gave an overview of the agreement and indicated there were a lot of <br />questions and issues that would need to be added before any action could be <br />taken. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council <br />Member Sweeney to table the Mutal Aid Aereement. Motion <br />carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Bowen Lot Split <br /> <br />The lot split request property is the wetland that exists at the end of Clearwater <br />Creek where the water discharges into Peltier Lake.
