<br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />3 Amended: 9/4/0] <br />2 Amended: 6127/0] <br />1 Amended: 1110101 <br />Effective 915/00 <br />City of Centerville Ord. #4 <br /> <br />Sf ATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILlE <br />ORDINANCE #4 <br /> <br />An Ordinance regulating the use of land, location, bulk, height, and <br />use of structures and the arrangement of the structures, on lots, and <br />the density or population in the City of Gentervilie, Minnesota and <br />providing for the administration and enforcement of such regulations. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville ordains as follows: <br /> <br />DIVISiON 10: General Provisions <br />Section 010-010: "ntle. This ordinance shall be known as Ordinance #4, City of <br />Centerville Zoning Ordinance except as herein referred to as "this Ordinance". <br /> <br />Section 010-020: Purpose. It is the purpose of this Ordinance to: <br /> <br />o Protect and promote public health, safety and general welfare. <br />~ Protect the natural resources in the City. <br />~ Establish land use patterns and development regulations consistent <br />with the City of Centerville Comprehenzive PIAn. <br />~ Prevent overcrowding of land. <br />~ Limit congestion and promote safety in the public rights-of-way. <br />~ Prevent the premature demand of publiC services. <br />~ Stage development consistent with the efficient provision of public <br />utilities and public services. <br />~ Maintain the small town character and quality of living in the <br />community. <br />~ Establish compatibility of land uses in the City to protect existing <br />investments and property values. <br />$ Promote opportunities for cohesive and compatible business <br />development. <br /> <br />Page 1 of82 <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />, <br />, <br />, <br />, <br />~ <br />
