Applications provided by the City must be completed, in <br />writing, prior to any consideration for an Amendment Fees <br />for zoning Amendments are established by resolution of the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />C The City may require the applicant to provide plans, maps, <br />surveys, etc., to ensure proper review and consideration of <br />any proposed Amendment to the written provisions of this <br />ordinance or Zoning District Boundaries. <br /> <br />D. After the filing of an application, or initiation by the City <br />Council, the City Clerk shall set a date for a public hearing <br />Notice of the hearing shall be posted and published at least <br />ten (10) days prior to the date of the hearing, and notice shall <br />be mailed to each property owner within three hundred fifty <br />(350) feet of the proposed Zoning District Boundary <br />amendments. <br /> <br />E. Upon hearing the request, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission shall recommend either approval or denial the <br />proposed amendment and shall state the reasons of said <br />action. <br /> <br />F. Within thirty (30) days of the recommendation of the Planning <br />and Zoning Comrnission, the City Council shall consider the <br />recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and sl1all approve, deny or modify the request to amend this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Division 200: Special Use Permits <br /> <br />Section 200-010: Procedure. A Special Use Permit may be issued in <br />accordance with this Section for any use or purpose for which such permits are <br />required or permitted by this ordinance. Application for a special use permit shall <br />be made by the owner to the Planning Commission on a form prescribed by the <br />Commission and accompanied by such other information as required by rules of <br />the Commission. The Planning Commission may hold such hearings on the <br />proposal to issue a special use permit as it considers necessary and it shall <br /> <br />Page 80 of 82 <br />
