<br />. <br /> <br />7. Employee Lists. The licensee must provide to the City Administrator a list of <br />employees who perform tattooing, body piercing, body branding or body painting <br />at the licensed establishment and verifY that each employee has received a copy of <br />this Article. <br /> <br />8. Liability Insurance. Licensees must have at all times a valid certificate of <br />insurance issued by an insurance company licensed to do business in the State <br />indicating that the licensee is currently covered in the licensed business by a <br />liability insurance policy. The insurance must be kept in force during the term of <br />the license and provide for notification to the City prior to termination or <br />cancellation. A certificate of insurance must be filed with the City. The <br />minimum limits of coverage for such insurance are: <br /> <br />A Each claim, at least $200,000; <br />B. Each group of claims, at least $500,000. <br /> <br />HEALTH AND SANITATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />1. Unlawful Practice. It sball be unlawful to engage in the practice of tattooing, <br />body piercing, body branding or body painting at any place in the City without <br />complying with the reguJationsofthis Ordinance. <br /> <br />2. Lavatory Requirement. A place where tattooing, body piercing, body branding or <br />body painting is practiced must be equipped with an adequate and conveniently <br />located toilet room and hand lavatory for the accommodation of employees and <br />patrons. The hand lavatory must be equipped with hot and cold nmning water <br />under pressure, be maintained in good repair at all times and kept in a clean and <br />sanitary condition. Toilet fixtures and seats must be of a sanitary open front <br />design and readily cleanable. Easily cleanable, covered receptacles must be <br />provided for waste materials. A lavatory fucility must be provided with an <br />adequate supply of hand cleansing compound and singe-service sanitary towels or <br />hand-drying devices. <br /> <br />3. Skin Infection. A person having a skin infection or other disease of the skin may <br />not be tattooed, painted, or branded. <br /> <br />4. Sterilization and Disposal of Bio-Hazardous Materials. Needles, razor blades and <br />other equipment used for pierced, branding or puncturing must be individually <br />pre-packaged, sterilized and disposable, and this equipment may not be used on <br />more than one (1) customer. Bio-hazardous waste must be disposed of in <br />accordance with law, and disposal procedure sball be approved by the Health <br />Authority. Approved sterilizing solutions and methods may be used for the <br />purpose of sterilizing instruments other than needles and razor blades when such <br />sterilizing solutions and methods are approved by the Heath Authority. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
