<br />Ii 15-209 <br /> <br />BLAINE CODE <br /> <br />(c) Existing Licensees Compliance. All existing adult use- <br />principal and adult use-accessory businesses shall be required to <br />conform with this provision on or before May 15, 1992. Failure to <br />comply will result in the license being revoked effective 12:00 <br />midnight May 16, 1992. No adult use-principal or adult use- <br />accessory which is not yet open to the public as of the date of <br />passage of this- article may operate until the license required by <br />this section is granted. (Ord. No. 92-1287, li 2, 3-19-92) <br /> <br />Sec. 15.210. Expiration of license. <br /> <br />(a) Each license shall expire one (1) year from the date of issu- <br />ance and may be renewed only by making application as provided <br />in section 15-208. Application for renewal should be made at least <br />sixty (60) days before the expiration date, and when made less <br />than sixty (60) days before the expiration date, the expiration of <br />the license will not be affected. <br /> <br />(b) If the city denies renewal of a license, the applicant shall <br />not be issued a license for one (1) year from the date of denial. If, <br />subsequent to denial, the city fmds that the basis for denial of the <br />renewal license has been corrected or abated, the applicant may <br />be granted a license if at least ninety (90) days have elapsed since <br />the date denial became final. (Ord. No. 92-1287, S 2, 3.19-92) <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Sec. 15.211. Suspension. <br /> <br />(a) The city may suspend a license for a period not to exceed <br />thirty (30) days if it determines that a licensee or an employee of <br />a licensee has: <br /> <br />(1) Violated or is not in compliance with any provisions of this <br />section. <br /> <br />(2) Engaged in excessive use of alcoholic beverages while on <br />the adult use-principal premises. <br /> <br />(3) Refused to allow an inspection of the adult use-principal <br />premises as authorized by this Code. <br /> <br />(4) Knowingly permitted gambling by any person on the adult <br />use-principal premises. <br /> <br />l <br />
