<br />PEDDLERS. SOLICITORS, ETC. <br /> <br />~ 15-212 <br /> <br />(5) Demonstrated inability to operate or manage an adult use- <br />principal in a peaceful and law-abiding manner, thus ne- <br />cessitating action by law enforcement officers. . <br /> <br />(b) A suspension by the city shall be preceded by written notice <br />to the licensee and a public hearing. The notice shall give at .least <br />ten (10) days notice of the time and place of the hearing and shall <br />state the nature of the charges against the licensee. The notice <br />may be served upon the licensee personally, or by leaving the <br />same at the licensed business premises with the person in charge <br />thereof. (Ord. No. 92-1287, !} 2, 3-19-92) <br /> <br />Sec. 15.212. Revocation. <br /> <br />(a) The city may revoke a license if it determines that: <br /> <br />(1) The cause of suspension as set forth in section 15-211 oc- <br />curs and the license has been suspended within the pre- <br />ceding months. <br /> <br />(2) The licensee gave false or misleading information in the <br />material submitted to the city during the application pro- <br />cess. <br /> <br />(3) A licensee or an employee has knowingly allowed posses- <br />sion, use, or sale of controlled substarices on the premises. <br /> <br />(4) A licensee or an employee has knowingly allowed prosti- <br />tution on the premises. <br /> <br />(5) A licensee violated any of the provisions ofMSA!} 617.241 <br />through MSA !l 617.299 relating to the illegal distribution, <br />possession or sale of obscene materials. <br /> <br />(6) A licensee or an employee knowingly operated the adult <br />use business during a period of time when the licensee's <br />license was suspended. <br /> <br />(7) A licensee has been convicted of an offense listed in section <br />15.203 for which the time period required has not elapsed. <br /> <br />(8) On two (2) or more occasions within a twelve-month period, <br />a person or persons committed an offense occurring in or on <br />the licensed premises of a crime listed in section 15-203 for <br />which a conviction has been obtained, and the person or <br /> <br />10(\0 <br />
