Attached dwelling units of three or more, each with separate means of <br />access which are not a condominium. <br /> <br />Travel Trailers. A mobile vehicle with wheels, designed for overnight living or <br />camping purposes, capable of being towed by a motor vehicle. <br /> <br />Use. The purpose or activity for which land or a building is designed or intended, or for <br />which it is occupied or maintained. <br /> <br />Usable Open Space. A ground area on a lot, which is graded, developed, landscaped or <br />equipped or intended and maintained for recreation or leisure, available to and usable by <br />persons occupying a dwelling unit and their guests. <br /> <br />Variance. A modification of the literal provisions of the Zoning Ordinance in instances <br />where their strict enforcement would cause undue hardship to the property owner <br />because of circumstances unique to the property under consideration. <br /> <br />Vehicle. A car, van, truck, motorcycle, snowmobile, motor home, camper, trailer, boat <br />or similar item licensed by the State of Minnesota and as defined in Minn. Stat. 169.01, <br />Sub. 1, for use on roadways or waterways, excluding bicycles. <br /> <br />Vehicle. Abandoned. A structure that is erected as a permanent barrier, affixed along its <br />entire length to the ground or some other immovable structure to impede the movement <br />or the erosion of soil. <br /> <br />Water-Oriented Accessory Structure or Facilitv. A small, above-ground structures or <br />other improvements except stairways, fences, docks and retaining walls, which because <br />of the relationship of its use to a surface water feature, reasonably needs to be located <br />closed to public waters than the normal structure setback. Examples of such structures <br />and facilities include boathouse, gazebos, screen houses, fish houses, pump houses and <br />detached docks. <br /> <br />Wetland. Land that is transitional between terrestrial and aquatic systems where the <br />water table is usually at or near the surface or that is covered by shallow water. For <br />purposes ofthis definition, wetlands must have the following three (3) characteristics: <br /> <br />a. Predominance of hydric soils; <br /> <br />b. Are inundated or saturated by surface or groundwater at a frequency and <br />duration sufficient to support a prevalence of hydrophytes vegetation <br />typically adapted for life in saturated soil conditions; and <br /> <br />c. Under normal conditions, support a prevalence of such vegetation. <br /> <br />a. Subd. 156. Yard. That portion of a lot between a lot line, and a building on <br />the lot. <br />
