Because of his unique role, Rusty participates in most HKGi <br />projects, especially downtown and redevelopment projects, which often <br />require special knowledge of public financing rules. <br /> <br />Lil Leatham, RIA, a landscape architect with HKGi, will serve as a project <br />landscape architect with a particular focus on collecting GIS data and <br />producing the maps that the City and HKGi's planners will use to form an <br />accurate picture of current land use conditions in Downtown Centerville. <br />Lil's GIS expertise has made her a valuable contributor to many HKGi <br />projects including redevelopment, comprehensive and park planning efforts. <br />Lil will also contribute her design skills to formulating appropriate <br />streetscape designs and public improvements. <br /> <br />Mark Koegler, ASLA, President ofHKGi will serve as the Principal-In- <br />Charge of the Centerville Downtown Master Plan project and will provide <br />oversight and review of the project at critical times during the planning <br />process. Mark's 28 years of planning experience includes a significant <br />amOlUlt of expertise workiog with redevelopment and revitalization efforts <br />in downtowns and commercial areas. He led the award-wiuning downtown <br />master plan for Hutchinson and guided similar downtown projects to <br />completion in Excelsior and Prior Lake. Other redevelopment projects to <br />which Mark has contributed include an industrial area redevelopment plan <br />in Columbia Heights; the Village of Brooklyn Park Master Plan; the Excelsior <br />Boulevard Corridor Study io Hopkios; and the ESSBY Area Development <br />Plan io North Branch. As the President of HKGi, Mark will ensure the <br />Centerville plan is completed with highest quality. <br /> <br />Jeff McMenimen, Director of Design for HKGi, will contribute his <br />extensive urban design experience by providing design review for the <br />Centerville project. Jeff's 15 years of experience iocludes both national <br />and ioternational urban design projects. Although Jeff is a recent addition <br />to the HKGi staff, his design talents have become important to several <br />HKGi projects iocluding a Land Use/Transportation Study of Edina's <br />Southdale area, Moorhead's Growth Area Plans, and a new Downtown <br />Master plan project io Grand Rapids. Jeff will be iotegrally involved in the <br />on-site charrette portions of the project and will contribute to all urban <br />design efforts. <br />
