<br />Brad Scheib, AICP, Vice President of HKGi, will serve as the project <br />manager and lead planner for the Centerville Downtown Master Plan <br />project. Brad's planning experience includes serving as project manager <br />on a number of municipal projects, most recently for the City of Moorhead <br />on an update to that city's Comprehensive Plan and the development of <br />Growth Area Plans. He led the 7th Avenue Redevelopment Plan in <br />Newport, recently completed land use analysis work on a downtown study <br />for Osseo, and is currently leading the planning process for the <br />redevelopment of the Gladstone Neighborhood in Maplewood. Other <br />significant redevelopment planning experience includes the Mississippi <br />Crossings Redevelopment Plan in Champlin and work on Ramsey's <br />Comprehensive Plan and related redevelopment planning. <br /> <br />Bryan Harjes, RLA, a landscape architect with HKGi, will lead the urban <br />design effort. Bryan possesses exceptional design sensibilities which have <br />allowed him to assume significant roles in several high profile projects for <br />HKGi. Most recently he contributed to the urban design phase of the East <br />Ravine Neighborhood Pre- Design project in Cottage Grove, a project that, <br />in total, covers more than 4000 acres. Bryan's work focused mainly on <br />designing two separate multi-use commercial areas within the project area. <br />Bryan played a significant design role in the development of the award- <br />winoing downtown Master Plan in Hutchinson and a similar project in <br />Excelsior, and he has become the fIrm's leading residential development <br />designer, including a master plan for a development on the former state <br />hospital site in Cambridge. Currently Bryan is working on the ESSBY Area <br />Development Master Plan for North Branch. <br /> <br />Rusty Fifield, a strategic planner with HKGi, will help develop <br />implementation strategies for Centerville's Downtown Master Plan that <br />the City can use to ensure that the Plan is a useful, action-oriented set of <br />initiatives. Rusty possesses over 25 years' worth of experience working <br />with municipal govermnents. lbis experience, including service in city <br />management, has provided him with extensive knowledge on the workings <br />of municipal govermnent and the types of issues that city staff typically has <br />to address. Rusty's primary expertise is in public fInance-- his typical role <br />on HKGi projects is to identify methods of fInancing planning initiatives <br />that the community would like to place into action-but Rusty also offers <br />valuable communication and facilitation talents that have helped numerous <br />communities set goals and develop strategies to help them move forward <br />as a group.
