<br />.... <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & City Council Members <br />Kim Stephan vP <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />March 4, 2005 <br /> <br />Attached is a proposal from DuraFun for purchasing and installing additional skate park equipment on <br />the pennanent skate park pad at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. In the fall of 2004 the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee applied for and received $3,000 in Charitable Gambling Funds from the Dead <br />Broke Saddle Club and the Spring Lake Park Lions. Funds were also allocated in the committee's <br />budget for 2005. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Leblanc, seconded by Chairperson Peterson to <br />recommend to City Council to accept and implement the proposal made by DuraFun dated <br />February 21, 2005 to purchase and install skate park equipment on the permanent skate park <br />pad at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. The proposed amount is $5,938.43 with $3,000 to be <br />paid from Charitable Gambling Funds the committee has received from Dead Broke Saddle <br />Club and the Spring Lake Park Lions, with the balance to come from Parks & Recreation <br />Funds. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
