Subscriber Growth The North Metro suburbs experienced excellent cable subscriber growth in 2004. This can probably be attributed to the benefits of an upgraded cable infrastructure, the public's interest in high speed internet service, and the high level of new housing development. Lake Park As the table clearly demonstrates, all seven cities experienced growth in the number of homes served and the number of homes subscribing to cable. These figures represent households that subscribe to video services and does not take high speed data or phone service into consideration. As the Commission cannot regulate those services statistics on them are not provided. It should be noted that all of these figures represent the day on which they were tallied.
