The comprehensive plan was to be modified and/or adopted within 9 <br />months of the Metropolitan Council's action. <br /> <br />If yOU! community has plans to alter, expand or improve. its 'sewage disposal system you must <br />submit the Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan to the Metropolitan Council for its approval before <br />any sewer additions or alterations can be initiated (Minn. Stat. Sec: 473.513). <br /> <br />During the review process of your community's comprehensive plan, the MCES reviewed the <br />Tier I sewer element against the Tier II content requirements to help simplify the process arid <br />minimize the efforts of your community in preparing an additional plan. ThefoUowing is a list <br />of information that needs to be submitted to fulfill the requirements of a Tier II Comprehensive <br />Sewer Plan. <br /> <br />1. A copy of the City Council resolution adopting the plan along with a copy of the Tier I <br />sewer element. <br />2. A request that the Metropolitan Council review thelier I sewer element to fulfill the <br />requirements of a Tier II comprehensive sewer plan. <br /> <br />To allow the City adequate time to adopt needed resolution (until January of2004), the MCES <br />will continue to review and approve local sewer extensions against the communities current <br />adopted comprehensive plan. If you have any questions regaCding the need for a Tier II <br />Comprehensive Sewer Plan or the needed additional information, please contact Donald Bluhm, <br />Manager of Municipal Services, at (651) 602-1116. Hyou cannot provide the requested <br />information to the Metropolitan Council in this time period please call.
