<br />8.0 PROPOSAL REVIEW AND EVALUATION PROCESS <br /> <br />Qualifications submitted for this project will be reviewed and evaluated at three levels: <br /> <br />1. The City will review all Proposals submitted. Those statements that fail to meet Specific Requirements <br />outlined will be eliminated from further review. <br />2. Remaining statements will be reviewed and evaluated for content. A maximum of 100 points will be available <br />with the following weights: <br />. Background information on the firm 15 points <br />. Relevant experience of the firm 20 points <br />. Professional References 15 points <br />. Work Program 10 points <br />. Overall Project Schedule 10 points <br />. Project Budget 20 points <br />. Statement of philosophy and project understanding 10 points <br />3. A firm that is ranked higher than competing firms may be identified, based on the scoring in number 2, and will <br />be recommended to the City Council. The Council may elect to conduct interviews with the firms that have the <br />highest scores. If interviews are conducted, each firm will be given up to 20 minutes to present its <br />qualifications. The presentation will be followed by up to 35 minutes of questions for the firm. The questions <br />will be comprised of both standard and proposal-specific questions. <br />4. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award a contract based upon the best interest of <br />the city and at the sole discretion of the city council. <br /> <br />Request for Proposal <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />L_n <br />
