Knowledge of safety standards and precautions related to the job and work-related duties. 3. Ability to use the equipment and tools of the trade. 4. Ability to read and write and comprehend the English language. 5. Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions. 6. Ability to work cooperatively with others and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public. 7. Ability to perform job duties in all weather conditions and in uncomfortable conditions. 8. Ability to sustain continuous physical effort, including frequent bending, walking, manipulation of and heavy lifting of equipment. 9. Ability to inspect, maintain and operate proficiently light and heavy equipment, such as loader, bobcat, dump truck and snow plow. 10. Ability to work independently. 11.
