<br />Planning & Zoning Conunission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 7, 2005 <br /> <br />No changes to this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Ordinance #36A <br /> <br />Commissioner K1ennert Hunt indicated that the height and weight of recreational fifes <br />should be clarified. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson asked that Page 2, Section 3 burning barrels be removed and not allowed in <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson asked that under pallets it be specified that only non-treated pallets can be <br />burned. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated he would remove the sentence on pallets for clarity. <br /> <br />Ordinance #37 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Ordinance #37 is repealed by Ordinance #72. <br /> <br />Ordinance #38 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the City should consider whether to require a <br />license fee because the City does not currently provide an inspection to justify that <br />licensing fee. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson offered to review this with the building inspector to discuss <br />the feasibility of providing an inspection and bring back a recommendation. <br /> <br />Ordinance #39 <br /> <br />The Commission agreed this was recently reviewed and does not seem to need revisions. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Mr. Robert Knabe/Mr. Tim Kytonen. 7241 Main Street - Lot Split ReQuest <br /> <br />Mr. Knabe addressed the Commission and explained his lot split request. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the Planning Commission and Council <br />discussed last month the correct interpretation of the Code with regard to lot splits and <br />agreed in the future to require platting to simplify legal descriptions. He then said that <br />this request was already in process and Council agreed to allow this to proceed under the <br />metes and bounds description. <br /> <br />Page 5 of6 <br />
