<br />City of Centcrville <br />Ordinance #8 <br />Effective 12/16/82 <br /> <br />submit an erosion control plan, detailing all erosion control measures <br />to be implemented during construction, said plan shall be approved <br />by the City prior to the commencement of site grading or <br />construction. <br /> <br />2. Erosion and siltation control measures shall be coordinated with the <br />different stages of development. Appropriate control measures as <br />required by the City shall be installed prior to development when <br />necessary to control erosion. <br /> <br />3. Land shall be developed in increments of workable size such that <br />adequate erosion and siltation controls can be provided as <br />construction progresses. The smallest practical area of land shall be <br />exposed at anyone period of time. <br /> <br />4. Where the topsoil is removed, sufficient arable soil shall be set aside <br />to be re-spread over the developed area. The topsoil shall be <br />restored to a depth of at least four (4) inches and shall be of a quality <br />at least equal to the soil quality prior to development. <br /> <br />38.01-3. MONUMENTS AND MARKERS. The Developer shall place Iron <br />monuments in accordance with State Statute. <br /> <br />38.01-4. CURB STOPS. The Developer shall arrange with the City to make all <br />necessary adjustments to the curb stops to bring them flush with the top-soil <br />(after grading). <br /> <br />38-01-5. TREES. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Developer shall remove all dead and diseased trees before <br />building permits will be issued. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />One boulevard tree shall be planted per dwelling unit, except on <br />comer lots where two trees shall be planted, on each street. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Boulevard trees shall be one and one-hale to two inches diameter <br />twelve (12) inches above ground as planted with a minimum of five <br />feet in height. American National Standard Institute (ANSI) nursery <br />stock specification. Bare root trees will be allowed to be planted as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Spring planting: <br />Deciduous - April 7 to June I: <br />Evergreen - April 7 to May 17: <br />Fall planting: <br />Deciduous - October 10 to November 15: <br />Evergreen - August 25 to September 15. <br /> <br />Page 15 of34 <br />
